Rogues About

A recent case, successfully prosecuted by Nottinghamshire County Council Trading Standards team, shows  clearly that there are rogues about.

An eight strong gang of crooks preyed on elderly and vulnerable people, by cold calling and  door knocking , offering to save them care fees with the use of Trusts. The fraudsters took money and either provided nothing in return or Trusts which they had made up themselves. None of them were legally qualified and they could not produce Trusts , which is a reserved legal activity.
